Contribute to the path of Weaving life in awareness

I emphasize my journey on integrating ancestral wisdom, indigenous teachings, and personal intuition through weaving, community building, and sustainable practices like permaculture.

Fragments of my story

By embracing the teachings of the Earth and understanding the intricate workings of my gut and body, I've cultivated a harmonious relationship with myself and the environment, fostering a sense of wholeness and balance that aligns with ancient traditions and holistic practices.

This path reinforces the transformative power of attunement to nature's rhythms and the inner landscape, leading to a more authentic and mindful way of living in harmony with all of creation.

After a decade of travel and volunteer work, I always return to the Heart of the World (Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta). I have cultivated a deep-rooted relationship with this sacred place.

The emphasis on working with the thoughts, being present, and listening to the wisdom of the native communities brings out a holistic approach to life—one that honors the harmony between humans and Mother Earth. By aligning our intentions with her natural rhythms and teachings, we can foster balance, manifest harmony, and nurture a sustainable relationship with the land.

Receiving teachings from native women and reconnecting with the symbolism of the spiral ignited a profound awakening within my intuition. The weaving of the spiral as a sacred practice connecting thoughts, meditation, and spiritual clarity remarks how these indigenous traditions not only serve as functional objects but also as vessels of consciousness, memory, and cultural identity.

My experience of reawakening my soul through these teachings highlights the deep resonance between craft and spirituality. The manifestation of different weaving techniques as a response to this awakening speaks to the living, dynamic nature of indigenous knowledge—passed down through generations and expressed through hands and heart.

My experience serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of humility, continuous learning, and respect for indigenous knowledge in our collective journey toward harmony with nature.

My vision-intention,

My vision is creating an atelier, sacred space, where aims to foster a harmonious environment where circle gatherings, crafts, and ecological stewardship serve as mediums to honor and preserve indigenous traditions, promote ecological balance, and nurture collective healing and awareness.

Supporting my endeavor not only sustains my sacred work but also amplifies a vital movement to reconnect with nature's wisdom, ensuring that these ancient teachings continue to thrive for future generations.

I got a beautiful offer, build on a sanctuary

I got a generous offer from a beautiful friend, steward of Mandala farms & Wildlife Sanctuary Refuge, which aligns perfectly with my purposes, as his dedication to sustainable, regenerative practices complements my intention to build a self-sufficient, balanced community that honors nature's abundance without taking more than needed. This partnership has the potential to foster a deeply connected, mindful environment where wisdom, sustainability, and reverence for the land flourish, creating a sanctuary for growth, healing, and shared spiritual practice.

With creating an atelier as a sacred space for expression, learning, integrating ancestral wisdom, and ecological consciousness, I aim to craft meaningful, beautiful, and functional art that reflects the harmony of life. This space will not only nurture creativity and community but also support Mandala Farm’s growth by producing and selling crafted meaningful objects, ensuring sustainability and ongoing support for the sanctuary’s vital work.

My unwavering intention and intuition have guided me to this beautiful place. My friend and I have supported each other by investing resources to maintain balance and meet basic needs; this collective effort reflects resilience and shared purpose, reinforcing my commitment to turning our dream into reality over time.

I have been investing in the land and fostering a space for growth, creativity, and connection with Mother Earth, cultivating a sanctuary that embodies compassion, sustainability, and collective well-being.

I created a GoFundMe. Opening an opportunity for others to join me on this meaningful journey, allowing the energy of generosity and intention to flow towards making this dream a reality.

Every contribution, big or small, brings me closer to cultivating a thriving sanctuary where sustainable farming and community effort grow hand in hand. We are committed to continue planting diverse crops like cacao, mangosteen, macadamia, coconuts…, and more…

To sustain and expand this intention, it’s vital to create a vibrant community space that fosters continuous growth through diverse building techniques, regular gatherings for shared learning, and volunteer opportunities rooted in environmental harmony. By cultivating an environment where creativity, collaboration, and reverence for Mother Earth thrive, the base (the atelier) can evolve as a dynamic hub of awareness and action, inspiring individuals to deepen their connection with nature and each other while weaving life’s stories and skills into a resilient, nurturing foundation.

Thank you!

I honor the myriad beings and individuals who have supported me throughout this journey, most especially my dear mentor and friend, Maria, a devoted guardian of her cultural heritage and environment. Maria is an Arhuaca indigenous woman who defends her territory and preserves ancestral indigenous traditions and wisdom alongside her husband and children.

We shall continually update the progress of this dream, with the hope of soon setting it in motion so that, by the time you come to visit, we will sit in circle and create in harmony. recognizing that our bodies and Mother Earth are intrinsically linked as one living, interconnected community.

With love,

Johana.
